These shields meet EN1621-1 British Standard for motorcycles
These shields are designed to protect the hip from a fall from a motor cycle they meet the EN1621-1 British Standard. They slip into the pockets located over the hip bones in our Classic style underwear and can be removed so that the briefs can be laundered. The tread pattern should be facing away from the hip.
They can be swapped into a fresh pair of briefs and we recommend having 2 pairs of briefs if you are planning a tour over several days.
